Exam Pattern Overview:
CUET (UG) consists of three sections:
Section I: Language Proficiency (13 languages in IA and 20 in IB)
Section II: Domain-specific subjects (27 subjects, candidates can choose up to 6)
Section III: General Test (for vocational and general programs)
The test is computer-based and includes MCQs. Each correct answer carries 5 marks, and 1 mark is deducted for incorrect answers.
Exam Description:
The Common University Entrance Test (Undergraduate) is a standardized test conducted by NTA for admission to undergraduate programs in central, state, deemed, and private universities across India. CUET provides a single-window opportunity for students to seek admission to multiple universities with one exam. It covers diverse domains from science and commerce to humanities.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 or equivalent examination. Eligibility varies slightly depending on the university and program, but there is no age limit for applying.
